DS18B20 Waterproof Temperature Sensor
The DS18B20 is a versatile and widely used digital temperature sensor that comes in a waterproof version, making it suitable for measuring temperatures in various environments, including wet conditions. It’s also compatible with many microcontrollers and can be easily integrated into DIY projects.
Features:
- Temperature Range: It can measure temperatures from -55°C to +125°C (-67°F to +257°F).
- Resolution: The sensor offers a selectable resolution from 9 to 12 bits, allowing for precise temperature readings.
- 1-Wire Interface: It uses a 1-Wire communication protocol, which means you can connect multiple sensors to a single digital pin on your microcontroller, with each sensor having a unique 64-bit ID.
- Power Requirements: The sensor can be powered with 3.0V to 5.5V.
- Query Time: It has a fast query time of less than 750ms
Note:
You could need a 4k7 resistor with this sensor.
Not for use in salt water or other corrosive environments.
